Opening Ceremony of Nanning Museum

Now that the Nanning Museum – our largest project ever – is complete, we couldn’t wait to be visitors ourselves. On the official opening day COORDINATION ASIA founder Tilman Thürmer and project manager Yu Yin visiting the Guangxi city to witness the realisation of this great project.
During the opening, traditional dancers graced the corridors and seemed to complete the essence of the museum, which places a lot of focus on the traditions and cultures of the Nanning area, comprised of several different ethnic minorities in China. The one-of-a-kind experience added a special texture to this unique space.
When work began last year, it was exhilarating to be part of the museum from the ground up. Every detail was looked over carefully by our team, and seeing it brought to life and visitors fill its halls for the first time made every effort worth it.
