Photo SHMOG shortlisted for Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Awards
The iconic image of the Shanghai Museum of Glass’ kaleidoscopic entrance is one of the 16 shortlisted photographs for the 2013 Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Awards. Ken Schluchtmann of Die Photodesigner, who created the image for COO in 2011, has a total of four images in three categories shortlisted in the competition. His photograph of ‘Nasjonale Turistveger’ Trollstigen in Norway is considered the overall winner of this edition.
The Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Award are organized by architectural stock photography website Arcaid Images and focuses on the skill and creativity of the photographer. There are four categories: exterior, interior, sense of place and buildings in use. The winning images were selected by a panel of judges including architects Zaha Hadid, Eva Jiřičná, and Graham Stirk and Ivan Harbour of Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. A selection of nine will be on show in London from 28 February to 25 April 2014.
