COO wins Best-of-Best at the 2022 Iconic Design Awards for innovative architecture

COO’s Vans Huai-Hi Boutique Store was awarded “Best-of-Best” and Planet One was also a “Winner” of ICONIC AWARDS 2022: Innovative Architecture. 

The ICONIC AWARDS, organised by the German Design Council, honour the best architecture and design solutions internationally.

Vans Huai-Hi Boutique Store is the first of its kind in Asia located in the pop culture hotspot, TX Huaihai, Shanghai. As a creative hub for fashion-forward urban dwellers, the 220 m2 store is designed to be an inspiration for the free-spirited and a canvas for creatives. Whereas, Planet One is designed to be a social hub for the tech-savvy gaming communities.

This year, the award winners celebrate in both Munich and Shanghai. The lead designer of Vans Huai-Hi project, Ms Francesca Inchingolo, attended the award ceremony held in Munich. At the award event held in Shanghai, Mr Tilman Thürmer, Founder of COO, gave a speech about the design inspiration drawn from pop cultural cues and the skateboard community.
